I ain't biding adieu but just waving goodbye to a new year as I'm playing my very last show of the season in Milan this next friday. The gig will be opened by the enchanting french ensemble Cleo T.
Prepare yourself for a night of whispers, howling teremins, candles and serenades.
Then I will take a break to focus on my italian songwriting act Amor Fou, with an lp and a tour on the horizon, but the good old Casador will keep on writing and posting stuff on the road to the first album.
Hallo comrades, it's been a mesmerizing summer and here we are with the latest news and plans. After being radioaired on Aidan's" 13 August into Semptember, Casador appears on Different Class Radio Unsigned podcast is out today. You can find it on iTunes by looking under DCR Unsigned. My fifth show with Micah P. Hinson was terrific so expect saucy news for the months to come...I'm gonna play my very last show of the year in Milano and then start working on my next ep. After a 3-songs ep...eight months playing all over Italy, Luxembourg and Germany... a tour with the good old Micah P. Hinson... enticing nights with cool lads like Ra Ra Riot and Elvis Perkins... after tasting the deep freeze of northern eyes queing at a bus station in Berlin...after playing 'Fences of Pale' in front of mrs Shannon Wright...after secret concerts in designers' flats with pale blue eyed asian girls pictured on the walls and silent people all around...after nights missing The Organ more than ever...after this and everything after...it's time for a little break. Casador will be back in autumn with more serenades on a brand new ep.

Coming out of a collaboration between me and the young director/painter Elisa Fabris it's basically a mesmerizing collection of memories of a journey from Djerba (Tunis) to the snowy mountains of north-eastern Italy. We travelled from the desert to the deep freeze of the north during the last days of 2008, listening to songs and collecting a huge amount of images. I hope you will enjoy the the final cut.
